Colombia

In 2019, we visited Cartagena and Medellin, Colombia. Highlights for Cartagena were the food and charm of the old the town. Highlights in Medellin were picking coffee beans for an afternoon; visiting the Museum of Antioquia, which showcases the work of native son Botero; and exploring Commune 13, once one of the most violent neighborhoods in the city, and now a vibrant street art scene.
